Software Architect - Secret Clearance Required with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the architecture of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
• Create diagrams for communicating sequence flows and component interactions
• Interpret project requirements and develop architecture plans
• Provide architecting support across multiple scrum teams and projects as needed
• Work closely with the development team to ensure the work aligns with the architecture plans
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering and architecting
• Experience generating software planning diagrams for communication purposes (sequence diagrams, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Qualities of Exceptional Candidates

• Extensive experience working with multiple teams concurrently to provide architecture guidance and planning support from handoff from project manager to development team
• Familiarity with RESTFul API development, Single Page Application (SPA) development, and Mobile management development, for planning purposes
• Familiarity with security best practices (e.g., OWASP, encryption standards, CSfC, FIPS 140-2, FIPS 140-3, RSA, Passkeys)

Salary Range

The proposed salary range is reflective across all Sherpa 6 locations, years of experience and skill levels. Salary negotiations will be based on a host of factors including but not limited to your geographic location, prior experience, relevant skills, education, and certifications. Salary Description $135,000-$175,000
