Softball Club Coach - Westlake

Job Description

Highlights:

• Reports To: Program Director
• Location: Westlake, OH
• Role Scope & Requirements: We are seeking an individual with an ability to lead and coach a softball team. The coach should possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and be able to resolve conflict in a professional manner. This position reports to the Program Director and is responsible for the development of youth players according to the Explosive Fastpitch and Player Development Philosophy.

Job Functions

• Oversee all aspects of specified Team(s)
• Serve as a lead trainer for internal supplemental training programs offered seasonally by the club
• Design and execute training sessions
• Aid player development and motivation by providing positive and constructive feedback that is delivered in an appropriate method
• Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the club’s policies and all applicable laws, particularly regarding the safeguarding of youth/minor players
• Attend and coach club tournaments

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience coaching
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive, cross-functional relationships within the organization
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when privy to sensitive information
• Excellent leadership, verbal and written communication skills
• High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
