Soft Goods Sales Associate
Sunday River Retail is seeking enthusiastic and dependable sales associates for the upcoming fall and winter seasons for full-time and part-time positions. Soft Goods Sales Associates work directly with the resort's Director of Retail to sell through Sunday River Sports and/or Betty's Treats and Treasures.
About the role
The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience and will work as part of the greater retail team to manage Sunday River Sports' inventory, ensuring that all merchandise is stocked, organized, displayed, and signed for promotions and sale events. This position may require filling in at other store locations as needed. Must be available to work days, weekends, and holidays.
Soft Good Sales Associates provide excellent customer service in all aspects of soft goods sales and service. Knowledge of winter sports and merchandise is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all guests in the retail shop
- Be the expert for all soft good products in store
- Sell products
- Stock floor merchandise
- Maintain merchandising displays as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous sales experience preferred but not required
- Must be at least 16 years old
Pay
Wage ranges from $16 to $20 per hour, depending on experience.
