Social Worker - Support Social Emotional Learning Classroom

About the role

The Social Worker will support Structured Learning Community Classrooms during the 2026-27 School Year.

Responsibilities

• Provide social work services to students in structured learning community classrooms.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized plans for students.
• Assess student needs and provide interventions to promote academic success and social-emotional growth.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Current license to practice Social Work in the state.
• Experience working with students in educational settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of child development and psychology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
