SOCIAL WORKER / SENIOR SOCIAL WORKER
About the role
This social worker will be a part of LSC’s EDGE (Education, Dependency, Guardianship and Emancipation) Team. The social worker will work in an attorney/social worker team to support youth facing school expulsion and family instability. This role will support youth to achieve their legal goals and provide holistic services to ensure youth have all their needs met.
Required Qualifications
- MSW from an accredited school of social work
- Energy, optimism, and passion for serving children and youth
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing culturally competent services
- Experience serving youth impacted by trauma, including survivors of child abuse, human trafficking, and oppressive systems
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and with government agencies, social service providers, schools, and other stakeholders
- Experience with MS Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
Desired Qualifications
- Experience and comfort with supporting youth in times of crisis
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
Salary & Benefits
Salary scale is non-negotiable and is based on years of relevant experience as a Social Worker with an MSW, ranging from $80,474 - $89,478 (0-4 years; Social Worker) and $97,357 - $108,612 (5-10 years; Senior Social Worker).
