About the role
As the Social Worker - Per Diem, you will provide medical social services under the direction of a physician and Interdisciplinary Group. Your role involves understanding significant social and emotional factors related to the patient's health status and assisting in the development of coping mechanisms. Responsibilities
- Provide medical social services under physician and Interdisciplinary Group direction.
- Assist in understanding social and emotional factors related to patient health.
- Help develop coping mechanisms for patients.
Requirements
- Master's Degree from a school of Social Work accredited by the Council of Social Work.
- Current Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire (preferred).
- Licensed Social Worker in the state of residence (preferred).
- 1+ years of social work experience in a health care setting (preferred).
Pay
The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.75 to $43.10 per hour based on full-time employment, depending on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
