Social Worker - LCSW
About the role
Acts as a coordinator of psychosocial assessment and discharge planning for the patients/clients receiving inpatient psychiatric services at Hospital, providing leadership and psychosocial support necessary to address the individual's needs. Acting as a resource to patient/client, utilizes knowledge of community and health care resources to assist in addressing identified needs at any point of the continuum, pre-admission to post-discharge. Using timeliness and appropriateness of intervention, facilitates quality resource utilization (e.g., length of stay and level of care).
Requirements
- Seasoned professional knowledge, equivalent to a Master's degree
- Graduate of a Master's degree program in social work, psychology, or other appropriate degree
- 3-5 years of experience preferred
- Maryland Licensed LCSW license; LMSW candidates will also be considered
Pay
Pay Range: $30.00 to $51.27 based on experience.
