Responsibilities
- To provide professional role modeling and support to ASW, AMFT, and APPC clinicians.
- To implement policies and procedures including program goals specific to social services.
- To provide emotional support, crisis intervention and counseling; information and referral; referrals for financial assistance and supportive services to patients and families with problems that are related to hospitalization, illness, disability or trauma in all clinical care areas.
- To complete psychosocial assessments and work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- To complete necessary documentation and maintain clinical record for all social service consults during his/her length of stay.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. OR Master’s Degree in Social Work related field OR Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Clinical Counselor, or related field. Current state license required upon hire and maintain current.
- Behavioral Violence Prevention Training within 3 months of hires and maintain current.
- Minimum of one (1) year hospital or Outpatient experience or emphasis in mental health care.
- Experience in working with a diverse population with a wide range of problems (i.e., death and dying, maternal and childcare, substance abuse, disability, chronic illness, etc.).
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current, required.
- To complete criteria to provide supervision to ASW or AMFT, APCC per State Regulatory Board preferred.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $31.00 to $47.45. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
