SOCIAL WORKER II HEALTH SERVICES CI (COURT-INVOLVED) *** MULTIPLE FULL AND PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of the Social Worker II Health Services CI (Court-Involved) position is to provide mental health services to individuals involved in the criminal justice system, including those who are mentally ill offenders, patients or residents who have been judged not criminally responsible for committing felonies, and those who are too violent for a regular hospital or residential setting and deemed dangerous to themselves or others.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licenses, Registrations and Certifications as required by the Maryland Department of Health
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a mental health setting, preferably with individuals involved in the criminal justice system
