About the role
The Full-Time Child Foster Care Licensing Social Worker supports and oversees foster care providers, including kinship families, non-relative foster families, and corporate foster care homes, to ensure children receive safe, stable, and high-quality care in licensed foster home settings. This role includes guiding families through the initial licensing process, monitoring ongoing licensing requirements, providing support, and helping ensure compliance with state statutes and regulations. The role also involves investigative responsibilities as needed and recruitment activities aimed at increasing foster care resources within the community.
Responsibilities

Requirements

Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field, or equivalent. There may be additional requirements based on area of assignment.
Skills
A Master's Degree in Social Work or related field and one year of related experience as a Social Worker is highly desirable.

Pay
$70,720.00 - $102,377.60 Annually. This position may be hired at the Social Worker II level, depending on qualifications.
Schedule
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Work schedules (hours and days) and location are subject to change based on department needs.
