Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm with a flexible 40-hour work week. Hours vary based on program and family needs, ranging from 8 am to 8 pm or beyond, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of an on-call rotation ("Standby Quick Response"). On-call standby rotations typically last seven days.

Pay

$79,115 – $97,302 per year, depending on experience, location, and internal equity. Additional differentials: 8% for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, and select Peer Certifications; 7.5% for bilingual roles.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts initial and ongoing assessment of youth and family strengths and needs
  • Develops, reviews, updates, and ensures implementation of strength-based service plans, including safety plans and legal issues
  • Maintains ongoing communication and coordinates with authorized representatives and team members, participating in youth/family team meetings
  • Develops permanency connections by building and supporting biological family relationships and natural support persons; empowers resource families to make permanent commitments to children and facilitates visits with birth parents and relatives
  • Supports resource parents to ensure successful placements and compliance with agency and regulatory requirements
  • Meets with resource parents and youth in home and community settings, developing helping relationships and ensuring needed supports and services are provided
  • Facilitates support groups, provides training, and participates in events for resource families and youth
  • Rotates service as on-call social worker for after-hours emergencies
  • Attends weekly supervision, staff meetings, in-service training, and treatment team meetings
  • Maintains confidential files, including electronic information, and completes all documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements
  • Meets performance goals for productivity and quality
  • Participates in departmental and agency work groups
  • Performs other related responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (M.A.) in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, Marriage/Child/Family Counseling, or Counseling Psychology
  • Equivalent experience permitting an exception by Community Care Licensing
  • May require unsupervised contact with children (full background check and TB exam required)
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities

Physical Requirements
