The Social Worker LCSW role integrates behavioral health into the overall care strategy, working closely with primary care providers and other care team members.
Responsibilities
- Provides therapeutic services to patients with chronic medical issues.
- Engages in crisis intervention and coordinates community services/resources.
Requirements
Education: Master's Degree in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work education required.
Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Maine Social Work license required.
Experience: Experience providing therapeutic services to patients with chronic medical issues required.
