Social Worker - Clinical

Role: Provides advanced psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with mental and physical health issues. Responsibilities: Conducts comprehensive assessments considering bio-psychosocial and environmental factors, formulates diagnoses using DSM criteria, and develops treatment plans. Provides independent psychotherapy through individual, group, and family modalities to treat mental disorders and promote personal growth. Monitors patient progress, revises care plans, and documents interventions clearly and promptly. Builds therapeutic alliances with patients and families, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and participates in team discussions. Coordinates discharge planning, adheres to legal and professional standards, and contributes to departmental improvement and research efforts. Qualifications & Skills: Master’s degree in Social Work or related field with clinical licensure, at least 1 year of experience, including 4,000 hours of supervised clinical practice and 1,800 hours of direct client contact. Requires healthcare social work experience, knowledge of mental health, assessment skills, and proficiency in therapy modalities.
