About the role

The incumbent serves in the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic at the Tomah VA Medical Center, providing a broad range of psychological services to Veterans.

Responsibilities

• Current permanent employees of the Tomah VA Medical Center and its outreach facilities including CBOCs, VCS.
• Current permanent employees of the VISN 12 VHA Facility.
• Current permanent VA Nationwide employees.
• U.S Citizens.

Requirements

• This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP).
• Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
• Subject to background/security investigation.
• Must pass pre-employment evaluation examination.
• Must participate in the seasonal influenza vaccination program.

Qualifications

• Have a master's degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited school.
• Licensed or certified by a state to independently practice social work at the master's degree level.
• One year of post-MSW experience in health care social work or equivalent.
• Doctoral degree in social work may substitute for one year of experience.
