About the role

Join our vibrant behavioral health team as a Social Worker. In this rewarding role, you will provide compassionate counseling and therapy to those facing mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to formulate accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based techniques tailored to clients' specific needs and challenges.
• Respond to mental health emergencies, providing immediate support and developing safety plans to ensure client safety.
• Collaborate with clients, healthcare professionals, and families to set therapeutic goals and adjust treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
• Cookordinate resources and services, advocating for clients within the healthcare system and connecting them with community support.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and progress in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Requirements

• Must have Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• If currently registered as an Intern with a Social Work board, provide all educational and licensure requirements upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum one (1) year Inpatient, Post-Acute care, or Outpatient Behavioral Health experience.
• Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintain current, preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or related field, preferred.

Pay

• Per diem / PRN hours.
• Hours: 8-hour shifts - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

• Shifts available at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.
