Social Worker

Responsibilities

• Support and advocate for patients undergoing dialysis.
• Help patients understand their rights and responsibilities.
• Guide patients in managing the physical, mental, emotional and financial demands of End Stage Renal Disease.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required with a specialization in clinical practice.
• Demonstrated knowledge of government and private insurance programs.
• Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Meets all state required regulations to practice in the dialysis setting.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of end stage renal disease and related healthcare policies.

Pay
