Social Worker and Therapist

Responsibilities

In the Social Worker and Therapist role, you will utilize both your case management and therapeutic skills to support our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

Hours for this role are Monday - Friday, between 8a-5p.

Responsible to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the psychosocial services for patients of PrairieCare.

• Provides a comprehensive range of services to patients and their families, including case management and therapeutic services, and seeks to enhance the functioning of patients.
• Works with children, adolescents, and adults and serves patients with co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related therapeutic field.
• Non-independently licensed candidate will be considered if your degree is in a closely related field and you are pursuing an LPCC, you must demonstrate that your education meets the coursework requirements of the license, either through your own comparison or an unofficial review with the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy.
• Licensure: Candidates must be licensed LGSW or actively pursuing clinical licensure in the state of Minnesota. This includes receiving clinical supervision and counting clinical supervision hours.
• Two years previous mental health experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in intensive psychiatric healthcare settings preferred.
• Experience using electronic health records preferred.
• Able to maintain required malpractice insurance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook and Word.

Pay

Compensation for this role ranges from $29- $38 per hour depending on licensure and experience. We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation. An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions.
