Social Studies Teacher

About the role

Scheck Hillel School is experiencing exciting growth and is looking to build a pool of talented Social Studies educators for its upper school (grades 6th-12th).

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing yet challenging learning environment for students.
• Teach Social Studies courses to students in grades 6-12.
• Utilize strong knowledge of pedagogical practices and learning theories.
• Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in education or a related field is required.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Candidates should have at least 3 years of teaching experience in an Upper school setting (grades 6-12).
• A valid teaching certification is preferred.

• Passionate and skilled in Social Studies education.
