International Academy of Flint is seeking a passionate Middle School Social Studies Teacher to join our team. We are a highly regarded institution providing a high-quality education to a diverse population in the Flint metropolitan area. Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe academic environment conducive to learning and maintain the professional image of the school.
• Plan and follow up on the academic progress of all students, working cooperatively with the Student Life and Student Management teams.
• Fulfill 30 student contact hours per week, teaching specific grade levels or subjects to multiple classes in regular or intensive settings.
• Perform homeroom duties if assigned to a specific grade level.
• Take on additional non-instructional duties such as proctoring exams or supervising recess or lunch.
• Attend all school functions.
