About the role
We are seeking a Social Studies Teacher at Freeport High School.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain positive relations with students, school personnel, and parents.
- Collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to maintain high quality instruction and student support.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and effective communication skills.
- Reflect on instructional practices to enhance student achievement.
- Fulfill all performance responsibilities of a Social Studies Teacher in a high school setting.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current Social Studies certification in the State of Maine.
- Bachelor degree (four year) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two-year classroom teaching experience preferred.
- Completed fingerprinting in accordance with school requirements.
Requirements
- Must hold valid (700)- Social Studies Certification from the ME Dept. of Education.
