Overview
As a Social Service Staff, you will assist the Social Services Director/Coordinator in identifying and providing for each resident’s social, emotional, and psychological needs, and the ongoing development of the resident’s full potential during their stay at the facility and for their discharge planning.
How You Will Make a Difference
- Aid residents and their families with social, emotional, and family issues.
- Provide timely and accurate completion of documentation needed to comply with Facility, State, and Federal policies.
- Participate in resident care planning and discharge planning.
- Serve as a general source of information for residents and their families.
What You Need To Make a Difference
- At least one (1) year of experience working in social work, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- A high level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
