Required Certifications LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed PsychologistBLS (Basic Life Support)CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) - can be completed onsite during orientation Work Schedule Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 12:00 PM to 8:30 PMSunday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PMSaturday and Monday off Key Responsibilities Assess the level of care for patients dealing with depression, psychosis, substance use, and other significant mental illnesses. Provide biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and short-term counseling. Link patients with resources and plan transitions of care for patients and their families/significant others of all ages, in any patient care setting. Offer psycho-education and facilitate support groups as needed. Consult on psychosocial aspects of care as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Serve as a liaison to community programs and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on discharge planning. Support patients in adjusting to illness and facilitate goals of care conversations with patients and families. May provide education to staff and other hospital departments and participate on committees.
