Job Description
The Social Media & Website Manager will be responsible for managing the social media presence and website of a tech startup based in Palo Alto. The position is a contract role offering remote work options.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create and maintain engaging content for various social media platforms.
- Manage website content, ensuring it is up-to-date and optimized for search engines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Analyze website traffic and social media metrics to inform future strategy.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in social media management and website administration.
- Proficiency in WordPress and other relevant web development tools.
- Experience with SEO and AEO best practices.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of popular social media platforms and their analytics tools.
