About The Role

The META Social Media Specialist will play a vital role in managing and enhancing the company's social media presence on Facebook and Instagram. This position requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in content creation, scheduling, analytics, and trend monitoring. The specialist will be responsible for developing high-quality, engaging content tailored to platform-specific audiences, utilizing analytics to optimize performance, and executing organic campaigns aligned with company goals. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role managing META accounts (Facebook/Instagram) with 100,000+ followers per account
• Proven ability to create compelling copy for educational and health-focused brands
• Experience managing personal brand accounts on social media platforms
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and develop actionable strategies
• Basic graphic design skills with an eye for visual aesthetics
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to translate leadership directives into clear social media priorities
• Experience coordinating with remote or distributed teams and providing constructive feedback on creative output
• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing social media trends and platform updates

Responsibilities

• Create and publish high-quality, engaging, and platform-specific content for Facebook and Instagram based on strategic direction and trends
• Utilize social media management tools to schedule posts at optimal times to maximize reach and engagement
• Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics such as engagement, reach, and conversions to refine content strategies
• Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and industry news; present weekly reports on statistics and trends
• Execute organic social media campaigns to promote products, services, and events in collaboration with the VP of Content Strategy
• Collaborate with team members, including writers and designers, to ensure content consistency and alignment with brand voice
• Provide feedback on creative outputs and ensure adherence to brand standards
• Support the development of innovative strategies to grow social media audiences and increase engagement

Pay

Competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $30 to $40 depending on experience

Schedule

Flexible work hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm ET, with a one-hour unpaid meal break
