About the role
We are seeking a flexible, communicative, and team-oriented Social Media Specialist for our Marketing department at our headquarters in Umkirch, starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Social Media development and implementation of our social media strategy and editorial planning
- Creation, planning, and publication of content for various social media channels
- Development of creative content such as posts, stories, reels, videos, and graphics
- Management and further development of our social media channels
- Community management and responding to comments and messages
- Observation of current social media trends, formats, and relevant topics
- Analysis and evaluation of social media activities based on relevant KPIs
- Derivation of optimization measures and continuous further development of our social media presence
- Support in the planning and implementation of social media campaigns and cooperations
- Website maintenance & online communication: Support in the ongoing maintenance and updating of our website
- Input and updating of texts, images, and other content
- Support in the creation and optimization of website content
- Ensuring an up-to-date and appealing presentation of our content
- Collaboration in the further development of user-friendliness and the digital presence
- Support in search engine optimization (SEO) of content
Qualifications
- Professional experience in marketing, social media, content, editorial, or public relations
- Experience in planning, creating, and managing social media content and confident handling of common social media platforms
- Passion for writing and the ability to quickly grasp complex – including technical – topics and prepare them in a target group-oriented, understandable, and attention-grabbing manner with high reach
- Creativity and a good sense for trends, relevant topics, storytelling, and target group-oriented communication
- Basic to good knowledge of HTML/CSS and modern web technologies
- Expertise in SEO/SEA and an understanding of optimizing digital content
- Sense for web design, digital trends, and aesthetics as well as a trained eye for appealing visual presentation
- Experience with common tools for content creation and image/video editing is an advantage
- Confident handling of common analysis and monitoring tools for evaluating social media and web metrics
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written; French skills are an advantage
- Independent, structured, and careful way of working

- Enjoyment in contributing your own ideas and actively further developing digital communication
