About the role
This Social Media Marketing Intern role is an internship position based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a mix of on-site and work-from-home hours. The intern will assist in planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Drafting posts, designing basic visual content, scheduling campaigns, and monitoring social media channels for comments, messages, and trends
- Support digital marketing initiatives by tracking performance metrics, conducting competitor and audience research, and collaborating with the marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice
Qualifications
- Skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation
- Skills in Digital Marketing and Marketing
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) and basic analytics tools is beneficial
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage time effectively, and follow brand guidelines
- Enrollment in or completion of coursework in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred
- Interest in the mortgage, real estate, or financial services sector is a plus
