The Borgen Project is an international organization dedicated to improving living conditions for people affected by war, famine, and poverty through political advocacy. With over two decades of experience, The Borgen Project has successfully supported the passage of legislation benefiting nearly 500 million individuals in developing countries.
Responsibilities
- Create a branding campaign.
- Conduct an informal focus group and gather feedback for market research.
- Pitch story ideas to print, broadcast, and digital media outlets.
- Create and implement a fundraising strategy.
- Plan, market, and present at an informational meeting.
- Utilize social media and develop web-based messaging strategies.
- Aid in The Borgen Project's advocacy efforts.
Requirements
- No prior experience necessary.
- Passion for fighting poverty and advocating for change.

Schedule
The internship is part-time, 12 hours per week, and is offered remotely. Programs begin every month, and you can choose the month you wish to start.
