The Borgen Project is an international organization dedicated to improving living conditions for people affected by war, famine, and poverty through political advocacy. With a history spanning 20 years, the organization has successfully supported the passage of legislation benefiting over 500 million individuals in developing countries.

Responsibilities

  • Create a branding campaign.
  • Conduct an informal focus group and gather feedback for market research.
  • Pitch story ideas to print, broadcast, and digital media outlets.
  • Create and implement a fundraising strategy.
  • Plan, market, and present at an informational meeting.
  • Utilize social media and develop web-based messaging strategies.
  • Assist with The Borgen Project's advocacy efforts.

Requirements

  • No prior experience required, applicants must be passionate about fighting poverty and advocating for change.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about social justice and humanitarian causes.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
