Social Media Coordinator Part-Time

Supports T-Mobile Center’s digital presence by creating, publishing, and monitoring timely, engaging social media content that strengthens the venue brand, promotes events, and supports ticket sales and other business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and publish platform-appropriate content across T-Mobile Center social channels, including Meta (Facebook), Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn, in alignment with approved content plans and business priorities.
  • Develop social copy and curate or create photos, short-form video, graphics, stories, reels, and other digital assets that promote concerts, sporting events, family shows, venue initiatives, premium experiences, partnerships, and private events.
  • Provide live and event-day social coverage, including capturing content before, during, and after events and identifying timely opportunities that enhance audience engagement.
  • Maintain an organized content calendar and coordinate posts, assets, approvals, and deadlines with Marketing team members and other internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor social channels and participate in timely, professional two-way engagement with followers, escalating guest concerns, sensitive issues, or responses requiring management review.
  • Monitor relevant trends, conversations, and platform features and recommend appropriate opportunities for T-Mobile Center while exercising sound judgment regarding brand reputation.
  • Ensure social content reflects T-Mobile Center and Legends Global brand standards, voice, values, and messaging and is accurate before publication.
  • Track core social media performance measures, including reach, engagement, audience growth, video performance, and campaign results; prepare concise recaps and reports for Marketing leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Use performance results and audience insights to recommend adjustments to content timing, format, and approach.
  • Conduct routine research on platform trends, competitor and venue activity, and relevant entertainment marketing practices.
  • Support selected marketing and communications initiatives, including event promotions, grassroots efforts, website or email content coordination, photo galleries, promotional partnerships, and campaign execution.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, promoters, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders as assigned to obtain content, information, or assets needed for approved marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience creating content or managing social media for a business, organization, brand, school, team, or comparable setting; relevant internship or portfolio experience may satisfy this requirement.
  • Working knowledge of major social media platforms, including Meta (Facebook), Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and an understanding of platform-specific content practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear, engaging written and visual content with strong grammar, proofreading, and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or comparable applications; basic photo and short-form video editing skills.
  • Ability to interpret basic social media analytics and use results to inform content decisions.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and exercise sound judgment within established guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with internal departments, promoters, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn social media management, ticketing, CRM, venue, and other business systems as needed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate discretion when handling non-public information.

Schedule

  • Part-time, hourly, non-exempt position.
  • Hours vary based on the event and business schedule and are not guaranteed.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly for event coverage.
  • Work is primarily performed on-site at T-Mobile Center.
  • Some duties require movement throughout the venue and event spaces to capture content.
  • Must be able to remain stationary and/or move throughout the venue for extended periods; operate a computer and mobile device; and occasionally lift or carry equipment or materials weighing up to approximately 20 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • All hours worked must be accurately recorded.
  • Overtime may not be worked without advance authorization, but all time actually worked will be compensated in accordance with applicable law.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting social media for live entertainment, sports, hospitality, events, or a consumer-facing brand.
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating social copywriting, photography, short-form video, graphic content, or social campaign execution.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling, listening, or reporting tools and digital advertising.
