About the role
We're looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Miller Sports + Entertainment. You'll be responsible for managing social media for our events and venues, enhancing brand awareness, and engaging with our audience.
Responsibilities
- Build and oversee social media strategies and content plans
- Create and execute campaigns across platforms (FB, IG, TikTok, X)
- Manage social media for MSE events and venues
- Oversee existing and emerging social channels
- Identify and understand various audiences
- Interpret campaign performance data and apply insights
- Ensure alignment across all digital touchpoints
- Respond to negative online mentions and provide guidance on guest recovery strategy
- Develop and enhance brand guidelines
- Work with revenue teams on social media sellable assets
- Stay current on social media trends and experiment with new tactics
- Set an example of professionalism and teamwork
Requirements
- 1-3 years of direct experience with social media in a professional setting
- Proven experience in building professional/corporate social media accounts and audiences
- Proficiency in Google suite products
- Familiarity with popular social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, X, Instagram, and YouTube
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong understanding of social media and related technologies
- Familiarity with social media publishing, analytics, and social listening tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Must be able to communicate in English
- This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
- This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess
- This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for various periods of time
- This person must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
Benefits
The position pays $47,500 annually and is a full-time regularly employed role.
