Social Media Content Specialist

Location: Austin, TX (onsite 4 days/week). Duration: 6 months with possible contract‑to‑hire. Start: October.

What You’ll Do

• Create and publish short‑form written, visual, and multimedia content for social and candidate‑facing channels.
• Develop and manage content for LinkedIn, Instagram (key focus), and web.
• Produce social content, campaign ideas, taglines, employee testimonials, and other talent‑brand assets.
• Support multimedia production, including video creation, following established brand standards, voice, and video guidelines.
• Design graphics, presentations, and digital assets using Canva.
• Assist talent‑brand and recruitment‑marketing campaigns, career sites, talent communities, hiring events, email campaigns, and employee stories.
• Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and stakeholders to showcase authentic employee experiences.
• Manage content calendars and support approximately 5‑7 campaigns simultaneously, at various lifecycle stages.
• Track content and campaign performance, sharing insights and recommendations.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Portfolio of work focused on social media and content.
• 3‑5 years of experience in content marketing, social media, recruitment marketing, employer branding, communications, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience managing social‑media content and content calendars.
• Graphic‑design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
• Experience or exposure creating and editing short‑form video content.
• Familiarity with photography, video production, and social‑media analytics.
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and project‑management abilities.
• Creative mindset with knowledge of social‑media trends and an eye for design.
