Social Media/Content Creator – Local Beauty Business (Part-Time, The Hill)
Sugaring Me Pretty, an all-natural sugaring studio on The Hill in Boulder, is looking for a creative, social-media-savvy student to help grow our online presence. You’ll create and schedule content, engage with followers, and help tell the story of a small, local beauty business. This is a great resume-builder for anyone looking to gain real-world marketing/content experience with a small business — and a strong reference for future roles in marketing, communications, or social media.

Responsibilities
- Create photo/video content for Instagram and TikTok (in-studio shoots, before/after, behind-the-scenes, client testimonials with permission)
- Write and schedule posts/captions in line with brand voice
- Respond to comments/DMs and help build community engagement
- Track basic analytics (follower growth, engagement rate) and suggest content adjustments
- Occasionally assist with promotions, giveaways, or seasonal campaigns
- Coordinate with owner on content calendar
Requirements
- Currently enrolled CU Boulder student
- Active, savvy user of Instagram and TikTok; understands current trends/formats (Reels, etc.)
- Comfortable filming/photographing in a small business setting
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently with light supervision
- Bonus: experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar editing tools
- Bonus: interest in beauty/wellness industry
