Social Media & Community Associate (Part-Time / Internship)

About the Role

We’re seeking an early-career professional to join our Growth team, working closely with our in-house creators like Leonhart and Powdr TCG. Your role is to ensure compelling content reaches the right audiences at the right times, manage posting schedules, write captions, and engage with the community across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube Shorts. This is a part-time position (roughly 20 hrs/week) with potential to grow, based in Dallas or remote within the US.

Responsibilities

• Post consistently across TikTok and Instagram, scaling to X and YouTube Shorts.
• Write captions, hooks, and replies that resonate with the TCG community.
• Manage comments, DMs, Discord, and Reddit, engaging authentically as a collector, not a brand.
• Monitor TCG trends and flag opportunities for real-time engagement.
• Coordinate with creators on content timing and execution.
• Pitch post ideas and contribute to content strategy.
• Send weekly recaps analyzing performance and insights.

Requirements

• Deep familiarity with the TCG space: products, trends, accounts, and language.
• Strong writing skills for captions, hooks, and replies.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Current students welcome; formal experience optional.

Qualifications

• Extremely online with a useful, not just habitual, presence.
• Good taste in content and the ability to assess what works.
• Bonus: Experience running an account (personal, hobby, or brand-related).

What Success Looks Like

First 90 days:

• Posting five days a week on TikTok and Instagram with a pre-written calendar.
• Creator content published within a day of receipt.
• Daily engagement with comments and DMs in a collector-friendly voice.
• Understanding of account metrics and ability to explain performance.

By end of year one:

• Post plans for every drop and product launch.
• Active presence in collector communities beyond our feeds.
• Reputation for engaging replies as a key reason for follower growth.

Pay
