Social Content Coordinator (Part-Time)
About the Role
The Seattle Seahawks are seeking assistance with community management across various social media platforms and accounts related to First & Goal Inc., aiming to deliver exceptional customer experiences on a day-to-day basis, but particularly during gamedays and numerous non-Seahawks events, including concerts, other sporting events (Sounders, Reign, etc.), flat shows and more. This is a part-time, year-round position averaging 28 hours per week, oftentimes at Lumen Field, WAMU Theater or the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver capable of monitoring multiple platforms and channels at once, regularly scanning social media posts for opportunities to answer questions and provide solutions to customers during various events, primarily taking place at Lumen Field and WAMU Theater. The ideal candidate should have outstanding communication skills and exercise good judgement in determining when to escalate issues with stadium/event operations. They also seek out opportunities to surprise and delight fans in both big and small ways.
Responsibilities
- Monitor various social media platforms for customer posts, replies, comments and direct messages
- Respond promptly and professionally on behalf of the organization to address customer service issues across social media and messaging platforms
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer experiences, collaborating with team members to quickly solve problems and create memorable event experiences
- Effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a customer-centric mindset to ensure fan satisfaction and exceed expectations
- Drive engagement by creating comments and interactions between primary and ancillary social media accounts
- Engage with relevant third-party content from both primary and ancillary social media accounts
- Provide live on-site social media coverage for all WAMU Theater events
- Coordinate with the booking, operations and artist teams at WAMU Theater to plan and execute content capture
- Content planning, capture, editing and strategy for Lumen Field and WAMU Theater
- Occasionally provide comprehensive coverage of events
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with fans and team members
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and exceeding fan expectations
- Ability to work independently and self-sufficiently in managing responsibilities
- Familiarity with social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, TikTok and more
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Must be able to work irregular hours, including some nights, weekends and holidays
- Experience in creating and/or capturing content intended for social media is a plus

Pay
The hourly rate for this position is: $29.50
