Soccer Stars/ AYSO (2 hours Friday & 2 hours Saturday) Soccer coach

About the Program

Soccer Stars is partnering with AYSO to provide a fun, engaging, and development-focused soccer program for young players in the Torrance community. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic soccer coaches who enjoy working with children and creating a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead age-appropriate soccer practices and activities
• Teach fundamental soccer skills, including dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control, and teamwork
• Create a fun, encouraging, and safe environment for players
• Keep children engaged through games, drills, and creative activities
• Communicate professionally with parents, program staff, and AYSO representatives
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to coach
• Follow Soccer Stars and AYSO safety and program guidelines

Requirements

• Soccer playing and/or coaching experience preferred
• Experience working with children is a plus
• Positive, energetic, and patient personality
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work Fridays and Saturdays
• Background check and other program requirements may apply

Schedule

• Fridays & Saturdays
• Part-time hours, with specific times based on program sessions and field availability in Torrance
