About the role
i9 Sports is currently hiring for the Fall season at Jeanne Hansen Park. The position involves a team-based atmosphere with a focus on Fun! The role models for youth athletes and ensures a fun, learning, and safe environment for all players.Responsibilities
- Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books
- Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
- Keep time and score during the game
- Manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
- Communicate effectively via email, text, verbal, and written methods
- Have sports officiating, playing, or coaching experience
- Show enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and trustworthiness
- Show situational awareness, attention to detail, and critical thinking
- Show a positive attitude and ability to work independently and as a team
- Commit to the full duration of the 7-week season
- Possess a valid National Criminal Background Check
- Have reliable transportation and be dependable
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be dependable and not tolerate callouts
Qualifications
- Experience in sports officiating, playing, or coaching
- Excellent communication skills (email, text, verbal, written)
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong work ethic and trustworthiness
- Situational awareness, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills
- Pass a National Criminal Background Check
