Soccer Coordinator / Coach

Part-time position at Mason Early Childhood Center, 4631 Hickory Woods Dr, Mason, OH 45040.

Schedule

• 7-week season: August 29, 2026 – October 17, 2026
• Off Labor Day weekend (September 5, 2026)
• Approximate hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (final times TBD)
• Weather make-up dates (if needed): October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026

Pay

• $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
• High school students start at $14.00 per hour

About the role

The Soccer Coordinator enhances the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches by building relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring the instructional aspects of the program are delivered. The role involves hands-on involvement with practices and games across all age groups and skill levels, including observing, assessing, and assisting coaches.

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of the designated sport on game day
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Requirements

• Must be 16 years or older
• Must have reliable transportation
• No certification needed; training provided for league format
• Background in sports or customer service is a plus
• Ability to work for the full duration of the season
• Must opt-in to texting for communication

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; ability to work independently and solve problems
• Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure player safety
• Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships
