About the role
The SOC Security Officer position at Securitas is crucial for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients. This role involves centrally managing law enforcement radio monitoring, event logging, and recording; alarm monitoring of intrusion detection systems; emergency dispatch, incident reporting, and analysis; and remote alarm panel programming.
Responsibilities
- Provide law enforcement radio monitoring with event logging and recording
- Maintain alarm monitoring of intrusion detection systems
- Handle emergency dispatch, incident reporting, and analysis
- Program remote alarm panels
- Respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Advanced computer and technology skills
- Excellent customer service and team leadership skills
- Calm and professional demeanor in stressful situations
- Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process
Qualifications
- Experience in roles such as Call Center Representative, Dispatch, or Camera Monitoring is preferred
