SOC Security Officer

About the role

The SOC Security Officer position at Securitas is crucial for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients. This role involves centrally managing law enforcement radio monitoring, event logging, and recording; alarm monitoring of intrusion detection systems; emergency dispatch, incident reporting, and analysis; and remote alarm panel programming.

Responsibilities

• Provide law enforcement radio monitoring with event logging and recording
• Maintain alarm monitoring of intrusion detection systems
• Handle emergency dispatch, incident reporting, and analysis
• Program remote alarm panels
• Respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Advanced computer and technology skills
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills
• Calm and professional demeanor in stressful situations
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process

Qualifications

• Experience in roles such as Call Center Representative, Dispatch, or Camera Monitoring is preferred
