About the role

Join Chenega as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator in Quantico, VA, where you'll play a vital role in protecting personnel, facilities, and critical government assets. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced security environment, monitoring systems, responding to incidents, and supporting mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and unauthorized access events.
• Identify, document, and report suspicious activity, security concerns, and incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Support personnel vetting and security operations by conducting database checks and maintaining situational awareness.
• Coordinate emergency response efforts, communicate with onsite personnel and external agencies, and assist law enforcement during investigations and security events.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for this position include:

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Minimum of three years of Security Operations Center (SOC) experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to accurately document and report security-related information.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening

Preferred qualifications include experience supporting government, law enforcement, or federal security operations, familiarity with criminal justice, law enforcement, or security databases, prior experience coordinating emergency response activities and incident management, and advanced proficiency with security monitoring systems and related technologies.

Pay

The estimated salary for this position is $31.91 per hour.
