SOC Manager

Job Summary

As the SOC Manager, you will provide expertise and management of our managed services provider, focusing on technical infrastructure, process, design, assessment, implementation, awareness, and governance. You will serve as a subject matter expert and leader within the security team, helping to determine and implement security requirements across the enterprise.

Essential Functions of the Role

• Operate and maintain systems analysis
• Assess security controls based on cybersecurity principles and tenets
• Evaluate the adequacy of security designs
• Analyze all-source analysis
• Train and manage staff
• Develop or recommend analytic approaches or solutions to problems
• Identify cyber threats and prepare briefings
• Manage outsourced security vendors
• Build relationships with internal IT teams
• Develop workforce and position qualification standards
• Leverage best practices and lessons learned from external organizations

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
• 7 years of experience

Pay

The pay range for this position is $59.81/hour ($124,404/year) for those with entry-level qualifications up to $92.72 ($192,857) for those highly experienced. The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience.
