Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger entries.
- Review and prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS as applicable).
- Support external and internal audits by preparing required documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, and Corporate Accounting.
- Train, mentor, and supervise accounting staff; provide performance feedback and support professional development.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support system implementations or upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 4–6 years of accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing or automotive aftermarket industry is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational ability.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of working across teams and levels.
- Fluent in professional-level English (required)
Benefits
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $90,000.00 to $110,000.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
