Welcome to Enquo, where we believe in the power of data and technology to transform businesses and society. As a Snowflake Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions that drive actionable insights and support key business initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data models and data pipelines on the Snowflake platform.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data into Snowflake from various sources.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ensure Snowflake performance is optimized by designing scalable and efficient data structures and queries.
  • Implement data integration processes using Snowflake’s native features (e.g., Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks).
  • Perform data migration and ensure data consistency across various environments (e.g., dev, test, production).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, performance bottlenecks, and data discrepancies.
  • Automate data workflows and data quality checks within the Snowflake ecosystem.
  • Document data models, processes, and best practices for data management and usage.
  • Stay current on Snowflake updates, new features, and industry best practices to continuously improve system performance and capabilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in data development with expertise in Snowflake data platform.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake-specific SQL extensions (e.g., Snowflake-specific functions, joins, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in data modeling, building Snowflake schemas (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema), and designing optimized tables.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline development (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend, Informatica, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Secure Data Sharing.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and how Snowflake integrates with them.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices for large-scale data storage and retrieval.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to debug and optimize complex SQL queries and ETL processes.
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment and collaborate across teams.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
