Snowflake Data Engineer – with Apple AIDP

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, Advanced SQL, Python, and SingleStore to design, develop, implement, and optimize scalable data solutions using Snowflake and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture,, data modeling, and performance optimization. Important Requirement: Prior Apple AIDP experience is mandatory. Candidates without previous Apple AIDP experience will not be considered. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable data engineering solutions using Snowflake.Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale datasets.Perform SQL performance tuning and optimization, particularly across datasets containing millions of records.Design and implement data models, including Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).Develop complex queries involving Self Joins, Recursive Queries, Cursors, Views, and Materialized Views.Develop and maintain Python-based data engineering solutions.Work with SingleStore procedures and related data technologies.Apply strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and performance optimization techniques.Work with data semantics and semantic data models.Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.Support cloud-based deployments using AWS or Google Cloud where required. Required Qualifications8+ years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer; 10+ years preferred.Prior Apple AIDP experience is mandatory.Strong hands-on implementation experience with Snowflake.Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and solution design.Advanced SQL skills.Strong experience with SQL performance tuning and optimization.Strong understanding of Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).Experience with Self Joins, Cursors, Recursive Queries, Views, Materialized Views, and PL/SQL.Strong hands-on experience with Python.Expert-level experience with SingleStore procedures.Understanding of data semantics and semantic data models.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred QualificationsSnowflake certification.Advanced SQL certification.Experience with AWS or Google Cloud.Experience working with large-scale data environments.Strong data modeling and data architecture experience.
