About the role

The Snowflake Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing data warehousing solutions using Snowflake's platform. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance data warehousing solutions using Snowflake's platform.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
• Stay current with Snowflake's product updates and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Experience with Snowflake and other cloud-based data warehousing platforms.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and implement complex data architectures.
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of data warehousing best practices and standards.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
