Snow Removal Subcontractor with Heavy Equipment- 1099 Position

About the role

Schill Grounds Management is looking to add more Snow Removal Subcontractors for the 2026-2027 winter season. We are seeking dependable, reliable subcontractors to support commercial snow removal operations throughout the winter. Service areas in the Central Ohio Columbus Region include: Columbus, Delaware, Marion, Findlay, Bowling Green. When we connect, please specify which area(s) you can cover and the heavy equipment you can provide. When the snow comes, we need experienced operators who are ready to respond. If you have the equipment, experience, and availability to keep commercial properties clear this winter, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications

• Previous experience with commercial snow removal and heavy equipment operation
• Owns or has access to reliable heavy equipment suitable for snow removal
• Experienced operating plows, skid steers, wheel loaders, tractors, or similar equipment
• Reliable and responsive during snow events
• Available for overnight, early morning, weekend, and holiday snow events
• Able to work safely in winter weather conditions
• Maintains equipment in safe, reliable working condition

Requirements

• Must provide a current Certificate of Insurance (COI) as part of the assigned contract
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned properties
• Must be able to meet all applicable subcontractor and contract requirements
• This is seasonal, on-call 1099 subcontractor work
