SMT Technician - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate automated SMT equipment including placement machine, screen printer, and Oven.
- Perform off-line review from Automated Optical Inspection (AOI).
- Load and unload parts to tables and feeders.
- Operate CCA washer.
- Follow printed work instructions.
- Read and build assembly drawing along with MWI.
- Handle small precision tools, hardware, etc.
- Follow RoHS requirements.
- Properly sign in on correct PIDs, complete ESD testing, and follow all manufacturing guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain a neat appearance in their work area, reducing FOD when possible.
- Interpret IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards for acceptability and customer specifications.
- Keep team lead informed of any build issues.
- Be accountable for quality, quantity, and inspection of all work performed.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Fluent in English.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 – 4 years of equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with electronic assemblies, and surface mount assemblies.
- Able to lift 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.
Preferred But Not Required Qualifications
- Solder Skills.
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
Pay
The hourly pay range for this role is $20.00 - $23.91 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 3%. Once training is completed on 1st shift, employee is eligible for an additional $1.50 per hour shift differential once moved to 2nd shift.
