Responsibilities
- Follow process documents and workflow instructions
- Follow all state, federal and local employment laws/all Vanguard work rules, policies and procedures
- Be a willing contributor in all continuous improvement, training and other workplace programs
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
- Work in a safe and efficient manner
- Be reliable and dependable by consistently working all scheduled hours

- Maintain a clean and highly organized area
- Ensure benches, tools and equipment are maintained and in good working condition

Qualifications
- Computer Skills: Basic level of proficiency in computer systems
- Language Skills: English (reading, writing, and verbal)
- Mathematical Skills: General Math Skills and ability
- Other Skills: Basic level of proficiency in computer systems, demonstrated self-management and problem solving skills, detail oriented, accuracy and thoroughness required, ability to prioritize and organize several activities to meet daily requirements, ability to work overtime when needed, demonstrated ability to follow manufacturing processes and procedures required, demonstrated ability to interface with multiple levels of personnel throughout manufacturing required, strong attention to detail, effectively manipulate extremely small and/or fragile components and tools, ability to use visual aids, complicated drawings to verify quality products, communicate in person, over the phone, email, internet or in writing in a positive and professional manner at all times, able to work with minimal supervision and make productive use of time, able to read, write and communicate English, able to perform accurate mathematic calculations (add, subtract, divide), able to understand and adhere to all Vanguard’s policies, processes and workplace guidelines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Three or more years of experience with electronic components preferred
- IPC Certification
- Experience soldering lead-free components

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear
- The employee uses production equipment
