SMT Programmer/Operator

About the role

The SMT Programmer/Operator is responsible for programming and operating Surface Mount Technology equipment to assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate Surface Mount Technology equipment to assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of assembled circuits.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in electronics assembly or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
• Basic knowledge of SMT equipment and processes.
