About the role
The SMT Inspector will verify the quality and accuracy of surface mount technology (SMT) printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies. This position is full-time, 5/8 schedule (7:00AM-3:30PM), and requires in-person attendance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in running the SMT line.
- Inspect boards post reflow visually and with Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine.
- Hand soldering repair when required.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Experience with electronic components in an electronic manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
- Computer knowledge is an asset.
- Hand soldering experience.
