About the role

The Cook prepares food served to patients, staff, employees, and visitors under the direction of the Dietary Director. Responsibilities include meal preparation based on physician orders and patient needs, adjusting recipes as required, and maintaining a clean, sanitary work area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for patients, staff, employees, and visitors.
• Adjust recipes based on patient needs and physician orders.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area for food preparation.
• Function within the scope of approved policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Work professionally and collaboratively with peers, physicians, administration, patients, and visitors.
• Attend yearly mandatory education sessions as scheduled.

Schedule

• 80 hours per pay period.
• Rotating every other weekend.
• Day shift: Sunday–Saturday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM.
• Evening shift: 10:30 AM–7:00 PM.
